Location: Greer, SC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends) Full TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer‑focused Service Engineer Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aerial work platforms (boom lifts) for both customer-owned units and company stock machines. Previous experience preferred. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of aerial work platforms and boom lifts.Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and cosmetic repairs in accordance with company standards.Complete assigned work orders efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety procedures.Accurately document all work performed and communicate findings in a clear, professional manner.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.Ensure repairs meet expectations for cost control, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.Required QualificationsStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of hydraulics, internal combustion engines, and electrical/electronic systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to safely operate lift trucks.High school diploma or equivalent.Previous machinery or equipment repair experience preferred.Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, standing, sitting, lifting, and lying down as needed.Demonstrated ability to follow direction, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team.CompensationHourly Rate: $25–$35 per hour, commensurate with experience.BenefitsWe offer a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that includes:Company-Paid Benefits (Employee Only)Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid Time Off15 days of paid vacation annually (pro‑rated first year)5 paid sick days annually (pro‑rated first year)Additional AdvantagesConsistent weekday schedule with no weekend requirementsSupportive work environment with strong organizational valuesOpportunity to support a respected brand within the aerial equipment industryWhy Join Niftylift?At Niftylift, we don’t just build access equipment — we build careers, innovative solutions, and a sustainable future.Founded in 1985, Niftylift has grown into a global leader while staying true to what matters most: people, innovation, quality, and responsible growth.
