LOCATION: Dublin, Georgia The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is seeking our next Physician to join our team! This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of adults, children, and adolescents across behavioral health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) programs. The selected candidate will report to the Chief Medical Officer Responsibilities of the Physician: Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and follow-up care for patients Support individuals in crisis and facilitate hospitalization when necessary Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, offering consultation and guidance to staff Deliver high-quality care through both in-person and telehealth services Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold all regulatory standards All other duties as assigned Here are some of the things we require: M.D. OR D.O. degree Current Georgia Medical Doctor license(s) and board certification(s) Current DEA Registration Familiarity with telehealth and electronic medical record systems Valid Georgia Driver's License Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical staff Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly Here's what would put you over the top:Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use or working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities Benefits of Working with CSB of Middle GA:As a member of our team, you will enjoy our total rewards package to help secure your financial future and preserve your health and well-being, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Plan Options!
