Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Estimator is responsible for creating quotes to generate the cost of a part. This is done by analyzing each component and assembly drawing to determine the processes and enter information into our quoting software that will then determine costs. ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and might be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Generate quotes for new or changing OEM products used within the agriculture, construction, industrial, and military industries. Also work on quoting our own product in Power Equipment, Automation, and Truck Bodies. Review drawings to identify the processes that will be used to meet the customer requirements. Solicit supplier quotes and review them for accuracy to ensure they quoted to meet customer expectations. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsMust be meticulous and detail oriented with job tasks. Ability to read prints. Have a general understanding of metal fabrication processes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
