For more information, please visit Must be able to work onsite at the Melville, NY officeJob Purpose: The Agency Account Manager is a primary liaison with agents that proactively manages the client relationship, ensuring the achievement of agent expectations while providing key resources to grow their business. This position requires excellent communication skills to help build relationships and partner with agents to achieve Essential Job Functions: Engage in WFG company culture that emphasizes engagement in our 4 Cs, quality of work and high performance. Support the Agency Sales Representatives regarding activities related to all assigned accounts Support the Agency Sales Representatives during customer on-site visitations and presentations Build direct relationships with agents, will work closely with and utilize the selected channel partners to maximize new sales opportunities and renewals within assigned territory. Collaborate with aligned Agency Sales Representatives, partners and marketing personnel to identify, develop & build sales pipeline Identify & build sales pipeline through qualifying leads, prospecting, and penetrating new and existing accounts Effectively team with Field Sales to drive product/service revenue and achieve/exceed territory sales goals Leverage in-depth customer knowledge, product and technical knowledge and industry trends during sales process Build high-value, strategic and consultative relationships with critical clients and bring awareness of surrounding ecosystem. Utilize SUGAR to track current/potential customer interactions and drive progression of opportunities through the sales cycle. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to effectively manage personnel and prioritize projects and assignments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software. Strong organizational and planning skills for multitasking. Ability and confidence to develop original written language and correspondence for developing reports and proposals, as well as customer and field communications. Good people skills. Good analytical skills. Self-starter with strong work ethic and dedication to completing projects on time. Positive attitude, high energy level, strong desire to interact directly with customers, high comfort level making presentations, and ability/willingness to work additional hours as job requirements and projects require. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong Oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and handheld devices. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment; strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field. Familiarity with software such as Zoom, BombBomb, and Bam!. 3-5 years experience in an active sales role. Supervisory Responsibility:This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements/ADA: No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility. Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Days and hours of full -time position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
