We’re hiring Crew Members to help install erosion and sediment control systems (like silt fences and inlet protection) on construction sites throughout the Birmingham area — and beyond.What You’ll Do:As a Crew Member, you’ll work alongside a close-knit team to install and maintain erosion control solutions that protect construction sites and the environment.Your daily tasks will include:Installing and repairing silt fences, inlet protection, turbidity barriers, and other BMPsOperating hand tools, power tools, and light equipment (e.g., trencher, ride-on blower, skid steer)Driving a company vehicle and hauling a trailer safelyAssisting with additional tasks as neededWhat We’re Looking For:Minimum Qualifications:Some experience in construction, landscaping, or a similar fieldWillingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesReliable with a strong work ethic and a clean driving recordAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:Experience installing erosion control measures or BMPs (like silt fences and inlet protection)Familiarity with light construction equipmentWorking Conditions:Outdoor, hands-on field work in all weather conditionsTravel to job sites across the Birmingham area (occasional travel to other regions in Alabama/Florida)Monday–Friday work schedule, with potential for overtime and weekend workPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable working outdoors in hot or cold conditionsMust be able to walk long distances and work in physically demanding positions (kneeling, bending, squatting, etc.)PPE required: hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, work boots (provided or reimbursed)Why Work With SpreadRite?Competitive hourly pay based on experienceOpportunities to learn valuable equipment and trade skillsStable full-time hours with growth opportunitiesJoin a team that values safety, teamwork, and getting the job done rightReady to Build Your Career?
