Join our team as an Inspector in a critical role focused on maintaining quality standards for cable manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: Perform visual inspections of in-process and completed cables using established methods, setups, and specifications. Utilize measuring devices, blueprints, diagrams, and inspection instructions to ensure product quality. Identify, accept, reject, or rework defective units or systems as necessary. Collaborate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues. Follow and uphold quality standards in line with IPC-A-620 guidelines for soldered and crimped cable assemblies. Support the team by taking on assembly tasks related to inspection areas when needed. Document and track inspection findings and maintain accurate records. Proactively monitor and verify quality compliance in accordance with statistical or process control procedures. Communicate and interface diplomatically with various departments, customers, and stakeholders to address quality concerns. Maintain proficiency with PCs and modern software applications. Skills and Qualifications: Strong background in cable inspection and manufacturing processes. Experience with soldered and crimp inspections per IPC-A-620 standards. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and IPC manuals. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain documentation and adhere to revision control protocols. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across diverse teams. Prior experience with inspection in a manufacturing environment is required. Proficiency with personal computers and relevant applications. No degree is required. Shift Details: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM EST to 2:00 AM, with potential overtime on weekends.
