Automation Technician

Position: Automation Technician Industry: Manufacturing Location: Auburn, IN Duration: Full Time/Permanent Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, drives, and robotic systems. • Use software programs and network interfaces for equipment diagnostics. • Make programming changes to PLC, HMI, and robots. • Assist with machine repairs, setups, and preventive maintenance. • Manage time, materials, and documentation for tasks. • Support production needs and maintain spare parts inventory. • Provide professional customer service and communication. Qualifications: • Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations for Indiana. • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards. • Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, PLCs, and industrial machinery. • Robotics and automation experience is a plus. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • NEC standards adherence is required.
