Class E Driver

Job Title: Class E Delivery Driver Location: St. Louis, MO. Position Summary Production Steel is seeking a dependable Class E Delivery Driver to transport steel products and fabricated materials to customers across the St. Louis area. This role requires a safety- conscious driver who can manage early-morning deliveries efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities • Operate a Class E delivery vehicle safely and efficiently. • Pick up and deliver steel and fabricated products according to assigned routes. • Load and unload materials carefully, ensuring safe handling of steel components. • Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, invoices, and logs. • Conduct daily vehicle inspections for safety and mechanical issues. • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers. • Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations. Qualifications • Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record. • Previous delivery driving experience preferred. • Ability to lift and carry heavy steel materials (up to 50 lbs). • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Professional and courteous demeanor with clients. • Familiarity with St. Louis area preferred.
