Building dashboards in Looker as well as the ability to build new datasets in big query using SQL Day-to-day responsibilities: Building and optimizing a collection of dashboards Building new datasets for discovery & prototyping About the Project: This person will be working on a Tech cost transparency reporting project. They will assist in enabling the partners of the program by providing them dashboards needed to make strategic decisions. Team Makeup: The core team is a combination of strategic analysts, product managers & engineers. Certain location/ hub or remote: Remote is OK Opportunity to extend or convert to an FTE: Yes, extend into next FY. Data Analyst Job Description:Job Duties: Analyze, document and design data objects, data quality rules, and data quality tests to be landed and executed. Create resilient, sustainable and Data Object Designs and Data Quality Rules. Be a product-oriented Data Analyst creating and experimenting with new ideas that will engage and excite our customers Experience/Skills required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. MS/PhD would be a strong plus. 3+ years experience in Data Design, Dimensional Modelling, Teradata, HiveQL, Hadoop HDFS, Confluence, Jira. Strong understanding of data design techniques and principles Strong leadership and communication skills Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized. Strong customer focus and obsession with quality Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment Additional Requirements: Experience with Analytics using Looker Studio/Reporting Hands on experience with SQL Experience with financial and technology costing analytics Required Skills : Tableau,SQL Additional Skills : Reports Developer,Database Developer
