Total Line Refrigeration is looking for a Commercial Service Technician Service, repair, and maintain commercial foodservice equipment in restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other institutional kitchens. Ensure safe operation, minimal downtime, and compliance with applicable standards. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment (cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, ice machines) Troubleshoot electrical, gas, steam, and mechanical systems Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls Install and commission new equipment Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements Communicate with kitchen managers, chefs, and facilities teams Complete service reports and manage parts/tools inventory Participate in on-call or after-hours rotation as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred 2+ years commercial foodservice equipment experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read schematics and service manuals Valid driver's license; able to lift up to 75 lbs Preferred EPA 608 Certification CFESA or manufacturer certifications Work Environment Restaurants, hospitals, schools, and institutional facilities Field-based with travel to customer sites About Smart Care Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment.
