Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. Status: Full Time Regular Shift: EVENING SHIFT Department: Pharmacy Position Summary Summary:The Supervisor Pharmacy under the guidance of the Administrative Director, Pharmacy and Respiratory and the Associate Director of Pharmacy will advance rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. He/she will promote Pharmacists as integral members of the health-care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and drug use control functions that would be beneficial in each health care setting. He/she will serve as a primary advocate for advancing professional practice, increasing cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical services and improving the quality of patient care. Qualifications Responsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. • Pharm D. preferred Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Three (3) year's Hospital Pharmacy experience. • Two (2) year's Hospital Pharmacy supervisory experience preferred. License/Certifications • New York State Pharmacy License. • New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate. • Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association. • Immunization Certification. Working Conditions Other information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • May require admixture of chemotherapeutic agents. • May require prolonged periods of standing. • May require the occasional lifting of heavy boxes.
