Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse ? Location: The Women's Center at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky Schedule: Full time position-Nights ? ? 20% Night Shift Differential What You'll Do: • Ensures optimal patient care • Communicates and Educates effectively to patients on the level of understanding their process and discharge • Maintains accurate patient records and documentation. • Supports a conductive work environment and recognized emergent situations. • Administers and controls medications and IV therapies in accordance to the RN Nurse Practice Act • Follows HIPAA compliance. • Competent in nursing skills and personally responsible and reliable • Follows all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment • Demonstrates and responds to emergent situations • Closely monitors patient recovery phase and post-partum phase. • Proficient in interpreting induction of labor, fetal monitor readings, exams, and electrode placement. What We're Looking For: ➤ Associate degree required. ➤ Valid KY RN license. ➤ 2+ years minimum experience in labor and delivery required. -----Job Demands------ ➤ Strong Communication Skills ➤ Maintain accurate and concise documentation ➤ Frequent bending, standing, and walking ➤ Lift over 50lbs ‼‼Support our mission to provide outstanding healthcare to the people we serve.‼‼ BLS required through American Heart Association- renewals are included with TRH employment. ?
