Title: BI Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: Fulltime JOB DESCRIPTION: Skills Desired: • Advanced skills in SQL and database design principles • 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related fields • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks • Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases, including performance tuning and optimization • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data sets. Roles & Responsibilities: • Specify, design, build, and support data warehousing and BI solutions. • Design and maintain data models used for reporting and analytics. • Build various data visualizations to tell the story of trends, patterns, and outliers. • Monitor and tunes BI tools to ensure optimum level of performance. • Provide updates to customers, business, and staff on a timely basis for projects and tasks. • Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. • Support upgrades, configuration and troubleshooting for business intelligence tools. • Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. • Modify existing reports, extracts, dashboards, and cubes as necessary. • Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations. • Own the design and development of automated solutions for recurring reporting and in-depth analysis.
