The programmer is required to interact with our clients to understand requirements, design, develop, test, and implement software solutions. Candidates should have a positive professional attitude with demonstrated ability to maintain good client relations. The position is located in Virginia Beach, VA Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain custom software applications and system solutions Participate in planning and implementation of large-scale IT projects. Support clients by addressing task requests and providing technical assistance in real time Ensure software meets performance, security, and quality standards Co-ordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Manage version control, configuration changes, and create technical documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve software application issues. Develop custom scripts to automate tasks. Qualifications: Proficiency in multiple programming languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#, VB.Net, React, Angular etc. Prior experience in installation and configuration of software applications. Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), use of APIs, and version control systems (Git) Skilled in debugging, testing, and optimizing code for performance and reliability Understanding of business process improvement solutions. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experience Other: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Clearance at the level required for the government projects which requires U.S. Citizenship Konark Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
