Hospital in northwestern Tennessee is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician to join their team of nine physicians and two APPs. Candidate must have the ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and trauma care. Practice details include: 24 hours of physician coverage complemented by 2-12 hour APP shifts/day (9a-9p and 2p-2a) Access to a broad range of specialized services, including cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, urology, GI pediatrics, OB, radiology, anesthesiology, nephrology, and endocrinology. Manage a 16-bed emergency department, seeing approximately 75 patients per day Care for patients in critical conditions, from motor vehicle collisions to violent crimes, with a focus on chest tube placements, intubations, and trauma care.
