Clinical Director (BCBA) POSITION TYPE: Behavioral Health Leadership SPECIALTY UNIT: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) LOCATIONS: Phoenix & Tucson, AZ (Oversight of 6 Centers) SHIFT: Day JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent SALARY: $150,000 annually Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Clinical Director (BCBA) to provide clinical leadership and oversight across six ABA treatment locations in Phoenix and Tucson. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, ethical, and effective clinical services while leading, mentoring, and supporting clinical teams. The Clinical Director will work closely with executive leadership, regional managers, and clinical staff to maintain excellence in service delivery, staff development, and outcomes for clients and families. This is a senior-level role ideal for a BCBA with strong leadership, operational awareness, and a passion for scaling quality care. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Oversight Provide clinical oversight and direction for ABA services across six locations. Ensure all clinical programs meet BACB, state, and organizational standards. Review and approve behavior intervention plans, assessments, and treatment goals. Monitor clinical outcomes and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives. Staff Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and support BCBAs, assistant supervisors, and clinical leadership staff. Oversee supervision practices, including BCBA and BCaBA supervision requirements. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of clinical staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Operations & Collaboration Partner with operations and executive teams to align clinical excellence with business goals. Support consistency in clinical practices across all centers. Serve as a clinical resource for families, schools, and community partners. Assist with resolving escalated clinical concerns or complex cases. Compliance & Documentation Ensure accurate clinical documentation and data collection across locations. Maintain compliance with insurance, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Stay current on industry best practices, research, and ethical standards. Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB. Minimum 5+ years of ABA clinical experience, including leadership or supervisory roles. Experience supervising BCBAs, BCaBAs, and/or clinical teams preferred. Completion of BCBA/BCaBA Supervision and Experience Standards Module preferred. Strong knowledge of BACB ethics, clinical quality assurance, and service delivery models. Ability to travel locally between Phoenix and Tucson locations as needed. CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
