The QA Inspector III - DPI is responsible for monitoring and ensuring product quality throughout all phases of manufacturing and packaging. This role provides on-floor Quality Assurance oversight to ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing & Packaging Quality Oversight Verify raw materials during the dispensing process Dispense printed packaging materials to packaging operations Perform in-process checks during batch manufacturing and packaging in accordance with manufacturing and batch packaging records Collect in-process blend, finished product, and validation samples per approved protocols, including blend uniformity (BU) sampling Clean and maintain sampling rods, dies, and sample boxes used for BU sampling In-Process Testing & Documentation Perform IPQA testing on the manufacturing floor, including: Loss on Drying (LOD) Bulk Density Tapped Density Leak Testing Weight Variation Testing Ensure cleaning of manufacturing and packaging equipment and perform line clearance activities Post dispensed materials and samples into the SAP (ERP) system and complete related transactions Review online batch records, area/equipment logbooks, calibration records, and preventive maintenance (PMP) documentation Investigations & Compliance Participate in investigations related to deviations, OOS, OOT, and other non-conformances Ensure proper segregation and accountability of rejected materials within batch documentation Review engineering and environmental records, including temperature and humidity data Conduct daily quality rounds on the shop floor to ensure continuous GMP compliance Escalate quality observations, discrepancies, and manufacturing issues to QA Management Training & Continuous Support Complete all assigned training and comply with company policies, safety requirements, cGMP, and SOPs Perform additional duties and provide QA support as assigned by management Education & Experience Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience Experience with DPI, MDI, or injectable dosage forms strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable regulatory requirements (including 21 CFR Part 820) Excellent written and verbal communication skills bility to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
