Job Description

Tulip City Air Repair is a successful Aircraft Maintenance facility. We have extensive experience working on a variety of Aircraft specializing in general aviation piston singles and twins, turboprop’s, helicopters as well as Falcon 10, 20, and 900’s. With over 50 years of combined experience, our mechanics are FAA certified, A&P and IA with dedication to the highest level of service and safety.Tulip City Air Repair is looking to add a 1st shift Aircraft Technician to our growing team. We offer growth opportunities in a climate-controlled facility. Our facility has recently been renovated and updated with technology to offer our workforce the ability to service Aircraft efficiently and safely. We are located in Holland MI, KBIV.We pride ourselves on our 6 Core Competencies which ensure our employees "Love Coming into Work Every Day":Attitude | Communication | Initiative | Critical Thinking | Adaptability | Job KnowledgeTechnical Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experienced (5 plus years) A&P/IA Aircraft Maintenance Technician.Inspect, test, maintain and service aircraft to determine airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and FARs.Possesses skills and knowledge to correctly perform maintenance and repairs on nearly all systems of landing gear, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, flight controls, etc.Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record using Total FBO, IA Approach and Veryon.Maintain a safe and clean work area.Work with other team members to deliver quality and timely aircraft repairs.Comply with FAA Required Random Drug Screening Program.Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver’s LicenseMust read, speak, write, and understand EnglishFAA A&P valid certificationFAA IA valid certification preferredMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenPrefer to own a set of mechanic toolsReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionPick up 75 lb object from the floor, carry 100 feet, and place object back on the floorStand, sit, squat, kneel, lie on your stomach, lay on your back, and tolerate small, enclosed spaces for at least 10 minutes at a time.Available to work overtime as necessaryClimb and descend a ladder Job RequirementsWe realize and appreciate that our strength and competitive advantage is due to our capable team.
