RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager (Full-Time, Day Shift)Fellowship Community – Whitehall, PAFellowship Community is seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager (UM) to lead clinical and administrative operations on our nursing unit. This role ensures high‑quality, resident‑centered care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The UM provides guidance to nursing staff, functions as Charge Nurse when needed, and supports all shifts in the absence of the ADON/DON. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily unit operations to ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality resident care.Conduct resident rounds, assess clinical status, and coordinate with physicians and families.Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; ensure adequate staffing levels.Oversee admissions, assessments, care planning, and documentation accuracy.Monitor medication and treatment administration for compliance and safety.Provide direct nursing care as needed.Uphold resident rights, maintain confidentiality, and support infection‑control standards.Participate in QAPI initiatives, policy development, and interdisciplinary meetings. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of long‑term care or equivalent clinical/leadership experience.Current Pennsylvania RN license and BLS certification.Bachelor's degree preferred.Knowledge of federal, state, and local long‑term care regulations.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.Proficient computer skills; AOD experience preferred.Ability to work day shift with occasional off‑shift, weekend, or holiday support.Commitment to Fellowship Community's RISE Core Values. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting over 40 lbs., and constant hearing/vision demands.
