Automotive Express Technician - HILLSBOROUGH

Hillsborough Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a skilled and efficient Automotive Express Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong vehicle maintenance background and be able to perform quick and accurate services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections. The Automotive Express Technician plays a crucial role in providing prompt and quality service to our customers.Automotive Express Technician Compensation and Benefits:  Competitive Pay   Health Insurance  PTO    401(K)  Automotive Express Technician Responsibilities:  Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacementsConduct basic vehicle inspections to identify any potential issuesMount, balance, and rotate tires as neededInspect tire tread depth and recommend replacements when necessaryReplace air filters, cabin air filters, and fuel filters based on manufacturer recommendationsTest vehicle batteries and replace as necessaryAdvise customers on brake services and replacements as neededDocument all services performed accurately and maintain service recordsInspect brake systems for wear and tearUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredOther duties assigned Automotive Express Technician Requirements:  Previous experience as a technician, particularly in quick service or express maintenance, is preferredProficient in performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire servicesAvailability for occasional Saturday coverage - as business needs require.ASE certification or relevant certifications in automotive maintenance is a plusStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vehicle ownersAbility to work collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and support staffAbility to identify and address basic automotive issues during inspectionsValid driver’s license  Must pass pre-employment background screenings  WE ARE CAPITAL!With 20 automotive and powersports franchises and over 1,500 employees, CAPITAL is more than a company – it’s a community.
