This role involves on-site environmental monitoring and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.Minimum Requirements:CDPH Lead Sampling Technician certification (optional)OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (current or with up-to-date 8-hour refresher)Prior experience in environmental, remediation, or construction fieldworkValid California Driver’s License and clean driving recordStrong attention to detail and professional field presenceResponsibilities:Measure and document Potentially Disturbed Units (PDUs) such as tree canopies, utility boxes, and utility linesPhotograph PDUs before, during, and after excavationCollect soil samples post-excavation and backfilling per CDPH protocolsEnsure excavation crews are adhering to the site’s Operations Plan and Health & Safety Plan (HASP)Conduct basic visual assessments and assist in environmental compliance reportingLocation: Commerce, CA Schedule: Full-time during active site operations; includes a 1-day training session prior to field deploymentCompensation: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience and certificationsWe do not provide visa assistance; you must be a legal us resident.
