Molloy University Main Campus, Rockville Centre, NY, US The Department of Communications at Molloy University invites applications to teach 1-2 courses in their New Media track, starting Fall 2026. Courses may include History of Media, Online Content Production, and Advanced Online Content Production. Candidates must have: Master's degree, PhD, or other terminal degree in Communication, Digital Humanities, or other closely related field A history of at least two years of successful teaching experience at the college level or equivalent. Proficiency in social media content creation and/or digital content creation more generally. TO APPLY: The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The adjunct faculty members are responsible for: Preparing and delivering face to face instruction to undergraduate students in cooperation with the department's Chairperson and other faculty; Using a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning and encourage active learning in all students; Promptly assessing student's coursework and appraising students of progress; Meeting with students before or after class if they need to in order to attend to their course related questions. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to relate well to a diverse population of community learners. Salary Information: When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as discipline specific knowledge, skills, education and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $1,200.00 per credit (Undergraduate Instructor). To $1,357.00 per credit (Graduate Assistant Professor). This range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
