Job Description Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Mechanic to repair and maintain Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits. Primary Responsibilities Perform and maintain routine preventative maintenance and safety related repairs on all vehicles and mobile equipment Respond and assist drivers in over the road emergency mechanical breakdowns Diagnose pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems including component failures and repairs Welding Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Diesel engine/heavy equipment mechanic experience Welding/Torch experience Ability to perform DOT safety regulated repairs
