About the job Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer Water Resources Engineer Role Overview Seeking an experienced professional to lead and grow a portfolio of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects. This role involves planning, design, and construction administration, along with client engagement and business development. The position offers opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and long-term career growth, including potential ownership opportunities. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and manage water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects Oversee construction administration and project execution Conduct site visits and participate in client and public meetings Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule Prepare proposals, scope-of-work documents, and contract estimates Support marketing and business development initiatives Build and maintain strong client relationships and industry networks Mentor and manage team members to support professional development Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Kentucky 10-15 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and construction administration within a consulting environment Strong technical expertise in water resource engineering Experience in planning, design, bidding, and construction phases of infrastructure projects Proven project management and leadership skills Experience in proposal development and client service management Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Newforma preferred) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to continuous professional development and high performance Growth & Development Opportunities Leadership and mentorship from experienced professionals Direct involvement in regional business development initiatives Opportunity to contribute to long-term growth and service excellence in water resource engineering Career advancement and potential ownership opportunities
