Plant HR Manager

Job DescriptionOverview We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join us at our Hagerstown, Maryland plant location, local producers of plant-based protein products. Reporting to our Director of Human Resources, you will manage human resources and employee relations. You will be responsible for several areas of human resources such as safety, recruiting, training, EEO/AAP, benefits, employee relations, compensation and continuous improvement. You will guide management in the implementation and evaluation of talent and HR activities. You will administer existing programs following procedures including EEO compliance. ResponsibilitiesProvide direction and counsel regarding human resources aspects of plant operations Manage employee relations through issue resolution phase Lead talent management, succession planning, organizational development and organizational effectiveness processes programs Lead in the implementation and auditing of procedures Analyze development needs. Lead the development and administration of training programs Manage regulatory compliance efforts. Lead culture in assessment processes and provide direction on implementation of action plans Lead year-end processes including performance management and salary planning. Spend time on the plant floor engaging with employees, providing coaching, gathering real-time feedback, and promoting a productive work environment. EducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field Qualifications5+ years professional experience in Human Resources Manufacturing experience in HR required Demonstrated experience with ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills Demonstrated experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development Experience coaching, mentoring, establishing accountability, and driving culture change Experience with Workday, UKG or other HRIS Experience developing relationships with internal customers, peers and manage those relationships
