Position Overview As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities in the home improvement industry. You will leverage your sales expertise, industry knowledge, and networking skills to build relationships with key decision-makers, promote our services, and achieve sales targets. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the home improvement industry. ResponsibilitiesMeets and exceeds sales targets. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value of our services and solutions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the home improvement industry Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and tailor sales strategies accordingly Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, track progress, and ensure timely follow-ups and closures to meet or exceed sales targets Utilizes Sales Stack to track activities, contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities. Engages with Leap internal teams to develop and deliver solutions to meet prospect requirements Accepts and implements constructive feedback Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications2+ years of sales experience in a direct sales role within the home improvement with an individual quota assignment Demonstrated success and overachievement of value proposition sales (volume, market share growth, sales quota, competitive rank, awards, etc.) Excellent consultative and listening skills with a strong ability to communicate across a range of diverse cultures and corporate levels, including Executive Management (C-Level) teams. Ability to communicate complex topics in writing and verbally to users, business, and technical personas. Superior analytical skills balanced by an ability to navigate the larger strategic picture. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities. Strong business acumen with ability to translate complex business problems and identify workable solutions. Ability to manage change and use creative alternatives to solve problems. Knowledge of the home improvement/services industry and the technology used within this industry. Ability to successfully perform all job responsibilities remotely. Experience with technology that may include Salesforce, SalesLoft, Seamless and others Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic selling skills, skills in analyzing and evaluating territory dynamics to develop and implement a sales plan. Ability to initiate and lead projects.
