High level of autonomy: A-OX and A&B trust your sales expertise, and you will enjoy a high level of autonomy in this role as you generate and expand business throughout the Midwest area. Minimum qualifications:High School diploma or GED. At least 5 years of outside sales experience. Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Clean driving record. Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Industrial, medical or specialty gas experience preferred but not required. Essential duties/responsibilities: Generates new business and maintains existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects. Cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets. Responsible for gross profit improvement. Plans and organizes activities and resources so that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded. Prepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segments. Secures long term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements. Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data. Maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads. Conducts competitive intelligence. Demonstrates products to new account customers. Manages territory budget. Other duties as assigned.
