Swimming (Caitlin DeNise) WHAT DEPARTMENT IS THIS IN? 5420 Non Work Study, Physical Education & Athletics WHEN DOES THIS POSITION BEGIN (AND END, IF APPLICABLE? 2026-02-09 2026-02-13 JOB PURPOSE: Provide Lifeguarding services during scheduled lap swims in Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion. Water chemistry checks and light cleaning/maintenance around pool deck. PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY: Resume, uploaded Cover letter, uploaded DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must hold current Red Cross certification for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED. Punctuality for all shifts and ability to perform well without immediate supervision are a must. Ability to utilize skills under high pressure, act quickly and responsibly, work independently, implement/initiate emergency action plan. Ability to communicate quickly, clearly and precisely and maintain records.
