Qualifications Repair, Maintenance & Installation Occupations: 2 years Driver's License (Required) Work authorization (Required) Full Job Description We are looking for a shop mechanic to maintain and repair trucks and trailers. Responsibilities Maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all trucks and trailer equipment. Determine equipment condition by conducting inspections, diagnostic tests and routine maintenance. Perform all preventive maintenance and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements. Ability to diagnose all equipment fleet without supervision; ability to read, follow, understand schematic diagrams across a variety of component systems and equipment. Maintain paperwork documentation of service repair orders in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis as well as documentation of labor. Operate vehicles/equipment in a safely manner. Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols Clean and organize tools used for repair and related equipment Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization Identify and communicate the need of parts for inventory Skills Proven mechanic experience Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment English literacy Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules Familiarity with mobile tools and applications Experience level: Preferred 2 years minimum Experience: Repair, Maintenance & Installation Occupations License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
