UI Developer

We have an Asset manager located in downtown Boston looking for a UI Contractor to join their team. The UI Contractor will work closely with the application development team to transform our existing .Net Web Form application into the Angular framework. The contractor must have solid programming skills generally and extensive knowledge of Angular, Javascript and user interface design. See requirements below: SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Migrate existing web pages to the Angular 2+ framework Develop, integrate, test and implement application functionality Suggest and work with the IT team to offer design alternatives Assist with UI/UX modifications to the existing navigation Assist IT team with new page design and creation Assist IT team in resolving unexpected issues and concerns Assist in maintaining code quality, unit testing, and source control organization QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 3-7+ years of application development experience Strong knowledge of the Angular 2 or newer framework, Typescript and Javascript/JQuery Familiarity with REST services, SOAP Experience with third party components Ability to handle multiple project assignments and work in a collaborative team environment #LI-JW1
