Job Description

Crown Staffing is now hiring a full-time Low Voltage Technician! Travel Position | Company Vehicle Provided | $50/Day Per Diem | Hotels Covered When Required Pay Range is $60K-$72K Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling systems in large industrial environments such as distribution centers Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Pull, route, dress, and secure copper and fiber cabling, often in high-ceiling areas using scissor or aerial lifts Install cable support hardware including j-hooks, cable trays, and racks Terminate and test CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables, including patching into switches and panels Conduct performance testing and troubleshoot cabling issues to ensure proper function Follow OSHA safety protocols and proper PPE requirements on all job sites Label, document, and maintain accurate project records Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and team members Perform preventative maintenance on existing systems Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Structured Cabling Installer, or similar role Experience working in large industrial or distribution center environments preferred Ability to safely operate aerial lifts and scissor lifts Strong understanding of low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders Knowledge of cabling testing and troubleshooting techniques Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and travel statewide as needed Benefits: Company vehicle provided for all work travel Gas card provided $50/day per diem when traveling more than 2 hours from home Hotel accommodations provided when overnight stays are required MEC Health, 24-Hour Group Accident, Short-Term Disability, Term Life & AD&D, Dental, Vision, Behavioral Health Click Apply Now!
