Warehouse Lead

This position plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse. Responsible for performing various warehouse activities, including receiving, processing, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role ensures the timely and accurate movement of inventory within the warehouse, maintaining a safe and organized work environment. PRIMARY DUTIESPick orders accurately and efficiently using pick lists or other order fulfillment tools Adhere to the inspection process to ensure quality product shipping out to the customers Load/unload orders onto trucks or other transport vehicles Record parcel deliveries and deliver to appropriate person or department Assist with receiving responsibilities as needed Troubleshoot issues with sales orders at the time of processing shipments Communicate with Customer Service any issues pertaining to orders Complete F8 report twice per day to ensure proper billing and hot order report Assist in building and wrapping skids for courier shipments Direct the workflow in the fulfillment area and complete area audits Provide consistent communication of area needs to the supervisor/manager Responsible for training new associates Act as back-up for Warehouse Supervisor when required Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma/GED Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes Ability to lead a team Experience operating a forklift, swing reach, cherry picker Ability to speak, read and write English Microsoft Office Suite required: Excel, Outlook basic to intermediate proficiency Excellent interpersonal communication skills; verbal, written, and oral PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, squat, bend, pivot/twist, climbing, kneeling, balance. Regularly operating equipment such as forklift and/or order selector (up to 20 ft) Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes as required
