Job Full Description Municipal Engineering Leader Location: Dickinson, ND Pay: $100,000 - $175,000 per year (based on experience and licensure) Job Type: Full-time About the Opportunity We're representing a respected regional engineering firm seeking a Municipal Engineering Leader to drive the growth and delivery of municipal projects across North Dakota. This senior-level position offers the chance to lead community-shaping infrastructure projects, streets, utilities, water systems, and public works, while mentoring a team of talented engineers. What You'll Do Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects from design through construction. Develop and maintain strong client relationships with local cities, counties, and public agencies. Identify and pursue new municipal opportunities aligned with company growth goals. Mentor and coach engineers in technical design, project management, and client service. Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality for multiple concurrent projects. Collaborate with other technical and operational leaders to ensure seamless project delivery. Represent the firm at key client meetings, conferences, and industry events. Stay current on civil engineering trends, codes, and best practices in municipal design. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required); Master's preferred. Municipal or civil engineering experience and project management experience. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Dakota or ability to obtain within 6 months. Proven leadership experience in municipal infrastructure or public works projects. Familiarity with local and state public agency processes and regulations. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
