Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Position: Outside Technician Bucket truck operator, Underground drop bury Payrate: $21-$26 401k, Health Benefits, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Company Job Under close supervision, perform overhead drop, underground drop, equipment installations, operate a bucket truck and perform ladder work. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate a bucket truck or underground plow Run fiber drops from pole to home either overhead or underground Perform installations, reconnects, service upgrades and downgrades, and move orders for residential single family, MDU units and business installations Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality, security and safety control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as OSHA, and FCC. Adhere to standards in accordance with company policy Ensure and record proper levels and signal quality within required specifications on active fiber drops. Escalate unresolved customer issues to supervisor. Clean the premises of all debris and materials after the installation is complete Operate Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. Clean, maintain, stock, and secure assigned vehicle and equipment, in accordance with company policies Utilize and become proficient with tasks, tools, test equipment and information that will enhance results Adhere to industry specific, local, state and federal regulations, as applicable Know, understand, and follow company policy Perform other duties as requested by supervisor Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Position Bucket Truck Knoxville Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Location Knoxville EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
