Job Description Part-Time School Social Worker - Illinois January-June Assignment Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local Illinois school district to fill a part-time School Social Worker position for the remainder of the school year. This is a great opportunity for a licensed social worker seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on students and school communities. This role runs from January 5 through June 3 and requires availability two days per week during regular school hours, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The School Social Worker will support students' social-emotional needs, provide counseling services, and collaborate with school staff and families to promote student success. Position Responsibilities: The School Social Worker will provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and small-group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional skill development. The role also involves collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff, participating in problem-solving and IEP meetings as appropriate, and helping connect families with school and community resources. Requirements Candidates must hold an active Illinois license for School Social Work and have experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting.
