Label Machine Operator

Description: Job description Thriv Drink Project is seeking a Label Machine Operator for our production facility in Cypress, CA! Who are we? Thriv Drink Project is a fast-growing cold press juice and co-packing beverage manufacturer with our own labeling division. We have been in operation for a few years and growth has increased year after year. We are growing with that small company feel still intact. We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator for our Bottle Labeling Machine to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You'll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency. Responsibilities Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs Preferred Qualifications: Multi-Size Bottle Labeling Machine experience HIGHLY PREFERRED• Previous experience working independently • Previous manufacturing / food production experience preferred • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as this is not a sit-down position • Must be able to work long hours and work overtime when required • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus • Must be 18 years or older • Should have reliable transportation • Must be able to life 50-75 lbs frequently Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 32 - 50 per week Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Machine Operators: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Cypress, CA 90630: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
