Our team creates In Store Device Platform that enables rapid device integration and expose device capabilities as a unified API that enables the creation of delightful CX for shoppers and store associates. We deploy the platform to POS stations at scale in a form and business agnostic manner (platform first) across both current and future form factors that work to remove friction from shopping experiences across Walmart. We are a platform first team and keep a high bar for Operational Excellence to deliver at the scale that Walmart requires. What you'll do: - Design, implement and launch POS retail solutions at scale with high Operational Excellence. - Lead initiatives from requirements analysis and design to post launch support adding value to Walmart store associates and shoppers. - Navigate ambiguity and innovate to come up solutions that work at scale for Walmart - Work to integrate devices with high operational Excellence with POS solutions. - Work with device API(s) and vendors to rapidly integrate devices with high operational excellence. What you'll bring: - Ability to design solutions at scale involving multiple stakeholders. - Excellent coding skills. Ability to write tech debt free code. - Ability to write high quality tech debt free code in Java. - Expertise in device integration, familiarity with device drivers, firmware upgrades preferred but not required. - Ability to navigate ambiguity and innovate at scale. - Proven track record of solving for issues at root using automation and self-service. - Work independently taking end-to-end ownership with minimal guidance and oversight. - Deliver projects on time at high operational excellence bar and keep stakeholders informed. - Break down large projects into milestones and tasks and deliver on time keeping stake holders informed. Expertise in Operational Excellence. Make Operational Excellence a first-class citizen from design to implementation to post launch.
