Driver / Assembler (West Columbia, SC)

Carolina Industrial Staffing is currently recruiting a driver and assembler for one of our Medical Equipment Delivery Clients in West Columbia. See Below for more information on this position. An ideal candidate is a patient and physically capable individual, who does not mind being on the road for a good portion of their workdays. This position features a slightly flexible schedule but works around standard 1st shift hours. (8am-5pm) This position does not require work on weekends. This role starts at $17/hour. Description: Load Company Vehicle with the needed items for delivery while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Drive Company Vehicle to a variety of locations around the state to deliver to Customers. Once arrived at delivery location, unload the vehicle and take the items into the customers home / business for assembly and setup. Regularly delivered items include, but are not limited to, Hospital Beds, Bedside Toilets, Wheelchairs, etc. Check with Customers to ensure completed and accurate setup and delivery of all requested items. Continue process with additional customers on your route. Position Requirements: CLEAN Criminal Record Check CLEAN Drug Test CLEAN M.V.R (Driving Record) Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation to and from work Eligibility to legally work in the U.S. Qualities of Acceptable Candidates: Physically capable of loading / unloading, going up and down stairs, etc. Mechanically inclined and capable of mild to medium assembly by hand Utilizes time-efficiency when calculating routes, delivery times, setup times, etc. Prioritizes safety of all parties involved during delivery and setup.
