PGS Worldwide is seeking a Senior Test & Integration Systems Engineer (EO/IR Sensors) in Goleta, CA for a 1-year contract supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is an onsite role within a Systems Integration & Test organization focused on integration, verification and validation (IV&V), design verification testing (DVT), and production testing for airborne electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) Focal Plane Array sensor systems. The engineer will support test planning and execution across engineering and production builds and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product flow, cycle time, and yield. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline with 5+ years relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years) Experience in test methodology for sensor systems, including optical performance, analysis, and test verification for EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor systems (or closely related development/production test experience) Experience supporting integration and test activities, including IV&V, DVT, and/or production test execution Ability to develop test plans and execute product test activities in support of engineering and production builds Experience with MATLAB and LabVIEW Preferred Skills Experience developing and/or executing factory test plans, procedures, and equipment for EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor systems and ROICs Prior experience with ROIC wafer probing, fabrication, integration, verification, and validation for complex EO/IR systems Proficiency with basic lab equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters) Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; ability to interface with test leadership, IPTs, hardware/software engineers, program teams, and customers What You'll Do Support IV&V, DVT, and production testing to enable delivery of EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor systems Develop test plans and execute product test activities for engineering and production builds Support the Test Architect in developing and executing the test architecture from bid through production Contribute to test system design and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet program objectives Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to improve product flow, provide actionable metrics, reduce cycle time, and maximize yield Job ID: 14995667 "Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
