Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position Details Position Type: Contract Job Location: Fairfield, OH Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off, paid holidays, and health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Life Insurance Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift (9am - 5pm) Essential Duties/Responsibilities Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time Apply customer payments (cash, checks, ACH, credit cards) to accounts Monitor accounts to identify overdue balances and follow up on collections Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and balances Maintain accurate records and documentation in accounting systems Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing issues Requirements Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience Experience posting customer payments (ACH, credit card, lockbox, bank reports) Experience generating invoices and applying payments accurately Familiarity with monitoring aging reports and following up on past-due accounts Experience reconciling accounts and resolving billing discrepancies Comfortable working within an accounting/ERP system (NetSuite experience a plus, but not required) Intermediate Excel skills preferred (formulas, basic reporting) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team Strong communication skills for customer and internal follow-up On-Board was founded in 1976 by Robert L.
