State Street, South Holland Job Type: Adjunct Faculty Job Number: 00228 Department: Liberal Arts & Science Opening Date: 09/20/2024 Description Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Education courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom. Minimum Qualifications • Master's degree in Education or related field with 18 graduate hours in Education. Higher education/community college teaching experience is preferred. • Previous college teaching experience in the field. • Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred. • Previous online instruction required where appropriate. • Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation. • Must successfully pass a criminal background check. Supplemental InformationSTATUS/SALARY: This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.
