Field Technician / Handyman – Remodeling & CarpentryWe are a growing residential, retail, and apartment remodeling and repair company seeking a skilled Field Technician/Handyman. This is a full-time position with strong opportunities for advancement. Sick pay and paid time off are offered after a 3–6 month probation period.Pay: $20–$22 per hour, based on experienceJob Responsibilities & Required ExperienceRemodeling (Required):Interior experience must include: Basic framing Hanging and finishing drywall Drywall repair and painting Installing pre-fabricated cabinets and Formica countertops Installing bath fixtures (tubs, sinks, showers, vanities) Minor plumbing (sweating copper up to 1”) Minor electrical work (installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures) Exterior experience must include: Patio covers and gazebos Decks and fencing Carpentry (Required): Patio covers, decks, and fencing Installing or replacing interior molding Installing or replacing laminate flooring Minor framing or siding repairs/installations Drywall & Paint (Required): Drywall hanging, finishing, and texturing Interior painting and touch-ups General Handyman Skills (Required):Applicants should have a working knowledge of general handyman repairs, including plumbing, electrical, doors, decking, patio covers, and lighting.Preferred Additional Experience (2 or more): Drywall, stucco patching, and skilled paint matching Electrical repairs (switches, plugs, ceiling fans, lighting) Plumbing repairs and fixture installation, garbage disposals, minor leaks, snaking minor backups Landscape sprinkler system repairs (valves, leaks, heads, timers, shut-offs) Requirements Valid California driver's license with no restrictions Able to pass a criminal background check No criminal record Reliable transportation; work truck or van preferred (mileage reimbursed) Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday (1st shift); some nights and weekends required Physically able to perform construction-related work Motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Smartphone required Strong communication skills (verbal, electronic, and written) Take-charge attitude with the ability to complete tasks efficiently Punctual with minimal absences Interested candidates should reply with a resume and/or a description of relevant work experience.
