Occupational Therapist (OT) - Skilled Nursing Facility | Contract We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care setting. This 13-week contract opportunity is ideal for an OT who is passionate about helping residents regain independence and improve quality of life in a supportive, resident-centered environment. Position Details: Job Type: Contract Assignment Length: 13 weeks Number of Openings: 1 Position Urgency: Normal Schedule: Day shift, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy Sub-Specialty: Occupational Therapist Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care Key Responsibilities: Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide evidence-based OT interventions to support functional independence Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and therapeutic strategies Support residents in achieving optimal functional outcomes Required Qualifications: Active California Occupational Therapist license Minimum of 1 year of OT experience (skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred) Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Additional Information: Holiday coverage may be required EMR system used: PointClickCare This opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding contract in a collaborative SNF environment focused on quality care and positive patient outcomes.
