Our client is currently seeking a Brand Naming Specialist This job will have the following responsibilities: Job Description points. Support the execution of brand migration initiatives, including assessment of impacted touchpoints, coordination with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth transition to new brand standards. Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand architecture frameworks, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with enterprise strategy. Manage components of the brand portfolio, including auditing naming conventions, evaluating brand hierarchy, and identifying opportunities for simplification or optimization. Assist in the development of naming strategies, brand identities, and positioning for new products, services, or initiatives. Role Responsibilities Educate and Advocate Drive organizational understanding of the benefits of an intuitive naming system and its impact on brand consistency and user experience. Collaborate and Coordinate Partner with cross-functional teams to systematically triage naming requests, ensuring alignment with broader brand and communications workstreams such as value proposition development. Own Naming Development Process Lead and oversee name development, maintain best practices, and build stakeholder conviction around recommendations. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with business units to gather inputs, align on strategic objectives, and bring together the right stakeholders to initiate the naming process. Develop Naming Criteria Create clear criteria to guide exploration and evaluation, and facilitate tissue sessions to drive alignment. Conduct Competitive Audit Analyze marketplace trends to understand the role and positioning of names within the competitive landscape. Generate and Iterate Names Produce high-quality, legally viable names aligned with established criteria, and manage iterative refinement. Assess External Support Needs Determine when internal creative resources should be supplemented with external agency expertise. Create Compelling Presentations Develop persuasive naming presentations for shortlisting and alignment on a focused list for screening and validation research. Manage Screening and Validation Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to execute full legal screening, linguistic checks, and validation research to mitigate trademark and association risks. Finalize and Align Secure stakeholder alignment on the final name selection through structured decision-making and validation processes.
