Maintain effective customer relationships, understand customer`s needs and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings. Promote brand awareness through participation in agency and community events.Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, and personal contacts (Includes leads through centers of influence, social media, B2B and B2C networks, and sales lead groups)Secures new business through individual effort and established lead methodsPrepares quotations and applications and delivers effective presentations in order to close salesMeets and exceeds sales goalsProactively cross sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customersCompany and Brand PromotionDevelops, maintains, and cultivates community contacts to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunitiesParticipates in events designed to promote brand awareness and educate consumersWe will train on the spot, and continually provide development opportunities for future growth professionally and within the industry.Education/Licenses/Designations· Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products. The following lines of authority are required for this position: Property; Casualty; and Life (Reimbursement of online training program and state licenses after 3 months of hire date).· Valid driver’s license required, must be 18 years+Role RequirementsAbility to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize workDemonstrated sales and customer service experienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated analytical skillsExperience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Education/DesignationsDemonstrated knowledge of insurance concepts and principlesDemonstrated effective multi-line insurance prospecting and sales experienceWe offer competitive compensation packages, including base salary plus commission.
