Department: Enter department name Effective Date: 1/14/2026 New Job ☒ Current Job Revisions ☐ To be completed by HR: Job Code: Enter job code EEO-1: 2 - Professionals Job Family: Individual Contributor FLSA Status: Exempt Process Development Engineer Scope and Purpose of Position: The Process Development Engineer partners across the organization to coordinate people, processes, and systems to drive effective project execution and operational outcomes. This role serves as a central point of contact for defining project scope, tasks, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time. Responsibilities include developing detailed work plans, aligning resources, managing risks, and supporting decision-making through business forecasting, operational planning, and ongoing data analysis, with a focus on improving and supporting operations. This is an onsite position in both the Davis Vision Optical Lab in Newtown Square, PA and warehouse in Westampton, NJ. The selected candidate must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to travel to both locations frequently. Essential Functions: Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain on process improvement initiatives Recommend the development of new size profiles to increase service levels and drive business performance Analyze historical demand, filter out outliers and exceptions, and propose improvement opportunities Build effective working relationships through direct interaction with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally Create and deliver metrics, reporting platforms, and analytical models critical to tracking and managing business performance Build reports, dashboards, and other data visualization and representation models from the ground up Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Understand the objectives of various teams, the metrics most important to them, and how performance is measured Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements Generate insights through rigorous analysis of business performance and present data and recommendations in a clear, cohesive manner Develop dashboards with KPIs for a wide range of stakeholders Lead solution design activities, including wireframing, writing use cases and business/functional requirements, partnering with Design and Development teams, obtaining stakeholder sign-off, and supporting go-live execution Support organizational change during periods of high growth by helping build the systems and infrastructure required to scale Travel domestically 10% of the time; Participate in interactive onsite meetings regularly Perform additional duties as assigned Experience, Education, and Certifications/Licenses:Education Bachelor's Degree Required Notes: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or related technical field involving coding required 5 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelors Experience 5 Years Preferred/Required Notes: 5+ years' relevant experience in business analysis and project management required Experience with forecast analysis required Experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as SSMS, Power BI, and Excel required Experience working in an environment using Agile methodology required Experience in Analytical concepts such as dimensional modeling and data visualization required Proven track record of delivering projects on time, in scope, and within budget required Licenses and Certifications PMP certification, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Preferred Notes: Competencies: Problem Solving & Analysis: Assesses issues, identifies root causes, and develops practical, effective solutions.
