JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Clerk DEPARTMENT: Accounting FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt LOCATION: Corporate Campus, Conover N.C. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis. SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for efficiently ensuring accurate financial information and accounting records are up to date, enter invoices and account statements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately enter all vendor invoices into Infinium daily Match invoice receiving tickets to the invoice Verify receipt quantities against invoiced quantities Review vendor statements and resolve all issues regarding payment status Set up new vendor accounts and keep information updated Maintain all accounts payable records All other tasks/projects as assigned by Accounting Manager KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES Proficiency and accuracy in data entry Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects Strong Organizational skills Physical ability to access filing storage and carry up to 25 pounds MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Associate degree in Accounting or a minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience AS400 experience Ability to work full time Excel experience Accounts payable background preferred We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
