Position Description Join our team as a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Driver! We are looking for reliable and skilled drivers to drive with us at Ryder. Ryder drivers on this account earn $1200 or more per week. Here’s why you should consider joining us: Paid Weekly Weekly Guarantee of $1200 Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour Work Hours: 40 - 50 hours per week Tenure Bonus: $300 four times a year Comprehensive Paid Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting mainly at 6:00 AM with some PM shift coverage Your route will cover Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio with a mix of home daily and regional home weekends. You'll be driving a Day Cab truck, and we accept automatic restrictions. Ryder takes care of our drivers with newer trucks, 24/7 roadside assistance, and the convenience of fueling at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Successful completion of a drug test and background check Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test Must have a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements Verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer: 9 months in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years Ability to follow instructions and interpret policies and regulations Note: Additional screenings may be necessary depending on the position and customer requirements.
