This role partners closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to support staff performance, regulatory readiness, and resident satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Oversee all nursing services in Assisted Living and Memory Care Ensure accurate resident assessments and individualized care plans Monitor resident health status and coordinate with physicians Maintain medication management and clinical documentation standards Lead infection control and quality improvement initiatives Team Management Supervise, coach, and develop nurses, caregivers, and medication aides Support staffing, scheduling, and performance management Foster a positive, accountable clinical culture Partner with department leaders to ensure strong interdisciplinary care Compliance & Quality Maintain state and federal regulatory compliance Ensure survey readiness and policy adherence Monitor incidents and implement corrective action plans Promote resident safety and satisfaction QualificationsRequired Active LPN license (Indiana or eligible) Prior leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing Strong knowledge of clinical operations and regulatory requirements Excellent communication and team leadership skills Preferred Previous Health & Wellness Director, DON, or Resident Care Director experience Assisted Living or Memory Care background Experience with care planning and clinical systems Physical Requirements Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs Ability to assist with resident transfers (up to 80 lbs of force) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens What Our Leaders Say "It truly feels like a family at Charter."
