Job #: 147524 Title: Avionics Technician Location: Tucson, AZ Salary Range: 0.00 Position: Avionics Technician Description: The Avionics Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, modifying, and servicing aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic systems in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements. This role includes operating ground support equipment, assisting with mechanical and electrical removals and installations, maintaining documentation of work performed, supporting other maintenance disciplines, participating in 5-S and safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety policies. The technician may also perform work at off-site locations as required and support corporate or commercial aircraft maintenance tasks. Avionics / Electrical A/C Technical School or equivalent substantiated experience.A Certification, P Certification, or A & P Certificate required; GROL or AET Certificate preferred. 3-5 years of corporate jet experience. 0-2 years of avionics work experience or equivalent substantiated experience. Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings. Basic PC skills.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. #Professional Attributes Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations. Document all work performed according to manuals, regulations, and company standards. Assist other maintenance disciplines as needed.
